LAURA NETHERY, MPH, PhD
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Laura Nethery (Warmilu COO) translates the CEO's strategic vision into daily operational execution, building the infrastructure needed for sustainable growth. Over a 15-year career in public health and operations, she has secured and managed a grant portfolio exceeding $200 million and led strategic partnerships across government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, and healthcare systems.
Across that career, Laura has built deep expertise in scaling mission-driven programs, leading cross-functional teams, and structuring durable partnerships across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She pairs operational discipline—grant and budget portfolio management, work planning, and monitoring and evaluation—with strategic capabilities spanning market research, business strategy, investor relations, and policy analysis. Her leadership has ranged from directing teams across dozens of cities to convening multi-stakeholder coalitions of 200+ members, consistently translating high-level strategy into evidence-based execution for organizations serving underserved communities. Laura holds a PhD in Nutrition and Public Health from Columbia University and an MPH from Emory University.
